Encoding Videos to MediaCAST

Guidelines for Request to Encode Media Materials on MediaCAST

1). Download and complete the MediaCAST Encoding Request form - Download Form.

2). Request will be forwarded by the Office of Technology to Education Media Clearinghouse (EMC) for permission to encode. When permission is granted, your school will be contacted to forward the original media to Office of Technology for encoding.

3). EMC requires at least a week to research. Once permission is granted, please allow one week for the encoding process after the original media is received in the Office of Technology. The originator of the request will be notified by email when the media has been encoded and posted on MediaCAST.

NOTE: When the publisher grants permission for encoding, you will be asked to submit the original media which will be retained and stored by the Office of Technology after encoding.
