For the publishing of our podcasts we are using a combination of Apple's iWeb, and Cyberduck, a free ftp software for Mac OSX. Our podcasts are hosted on a server donated by Gray Loon Marketing, along with our site www.evscicats.com.

Instructions
iWeb is a program that was truly designed to publish podcasts. Everything in the process is simplified for you - podcasts archived, RSS feed created, pages linked, and wrapped in true Mac style. Free on new Macs, and cheap for teachers as a part of the iLife '06 bundle, iWeb provides one click creation out of Garage Band. Simply click Share > Send Podcast to iWeb, and the pages are populated for you - with picture and text placeholders to help guide the style. The only hitch in the process is cutting the bond between iWeb and the .Mac account that it REALLY wants you to buy. We accomplish that by choosing File > Publish to a Folder. From that folder, your podcast is just an FTP away from your web server.

Easy iWeb Publisher is a free download and does a great job of simplifying the process of transferring files. With the help of this awesome application, you can establish a pathway from your iWeb publishing folder to a folder your web server. This program allows you to upload only the files you have recently changed instead of having to upload the entire site. BIG TIME SAVER!!!
