Clear Internet Explorer Cache

A lot of the teachers have set their RDS system up to remember the password. When it comes time to have to change the password, the saved one is still there and causes login problems.

 

These directions work for both Internet Explorer 7 and 8. Be sure to check which version you are using.

 

To clear the password do the following: Open Internet Explorer

- Click Tools

- Click Internet Options

- Click Content

- Click Autocomplete Settings, Uncheck user names and passwords on forms and prompt to save passwords. (If this is done, ALL passwords saved for any site will be deleted.)

- Click Clear Forms (IE7) or Delete AutoComplete history... (IE8)

- Click Clear Passwords (IE7) - [skip step for IE8]

- Click OK to exit out.

 

Must close IE and restart for changes to take place.
