Crack the Code
This week is officially the week set aside for celebrating Computer Science Education Week, and it is also the official week in which all teachers are invited to try out an hour-long introduction to coding that anyone can successfully complete titled the Hour of Code. This post will introduce you to Hour of Code.
The purpose of the Hour of Code is to demystify the idea of computer coding and show students that anyone can easily learn the basics of computer programming. Last year, the Hour of Code reached tens of millions of students in more than 180 countries. We believe that this speaks to both a need and desire for this type of learning, and we encourage you to host an Hour of Code event in your school.
