Back by popular demand, this year’s Technology, Innovation & Collaboration Showcase will feature a cardboard arcade based on Caine’s Arcade!  Caine’s Arcade is a short documentary film about a 9-year-old boy named Caine Monroy. Caine spent his summer designing elaborate cardboard arcade games in father’s auto parts store. The film became a global phenomenon in 2012 when filmmaker Nirvan Mullick posted it online.  It was such a huge success that it inspired a nonprofit called the Imagination Foundation and launched the Global Cardboard Challenge, an annual challenge promoting creativity worldwide. Last year’s cardboard arcade featured some pretty awesome creations and pictures can be viewed below. To learn more about Caine’s Arcade follow the link here: http://cainesarcade.com/.

AND be sure to read all the way to the bottom for information on the new ways we have improved the the Arcade Challenge for this year!
